Hochoetz lies directly above the village. Kühtai, Sölden and Obergurgl are easy to reach down the valley.

The Ötztal is known for its freeriding. Please always go out with proper equipment and check the current avalanche situation.

Toboggan runs and cleared winter walking trails make for calm days away from the slopes.

The stop is right outside Villa Ambach — you can leave the car where it is.
